wet system map?

Have a question that I've been getting different answers to. With a 50 shot wet system on a stock motor is a PC3r nitrous map needed if all the existing mods are already considered in the map? Some people are saying it's not needed because the fuel and nitrous are being controlled already. Anyone have some opinions?

a wet system supplies the proper amount of extra fuel to go with the nitrous (when the right jets and pressures are used). the only thing you really need to do to the power commander map is pull out a degree of timing or 2 to be extra safe. a nitrous map is generally for a dry system

got a couple more questions....I'll be using a 50hp wet shot on a stock motor with a PC3r.
Should the fuel pump be upgraded (Walbro GSS242 )? Also, should the fuel feed line for the nitrous be seperatley plumbed in with a pingle bung instead of using the tee off the main line? I believe the answers to both are yes, but I'd like to hear from someone with experience.

thanks

i would get the pump, for $100 its worth it to me. the B pump is supposed to be better than the A pump, but the Walbro GSS242 or the Muzzy($200) pump will flow way more than you will ever need.
Im putting the Walbro in my 01

Yeah, I have a used Muzzy pump I can get for $100. I'm thinking with the Muzzy pump I can tee off the main line instead of using a bung since the pressure and flow is higher. What do you think?

If you tee off the main line you will have to run a different jet spread for the extra fuel pressure. I ran into this problem with the extra fuel pressure. Do a web search for "nitrous calculator" and you will see what I'm talking about. I am running a 100 shot and with 52lbs of fuel pressure I'm running .025 nitrous jets and .014 fuel jets and it pulls like a freight train. The only other thing I'm going to add is a regulator so I can maintain the right fuel pressure going down the track. Hope this helps.
