Just checking to see if anybody has the dyno jet ignition box that plugs into the pc111 usb on there zx12. If so, can you tell how much performance gain you can get with this box?

I don't have one with my pc3 usb but since all it does is change timing I would think it would be no better or worse than the pc3r which does the same thing. From what i have read the 12 likes a bit of timing up to about 9k rpm's after that most start to take out timing for better performance. I adjusted my timing using the muzzy timing adjuster and found that 2.5 degress advanced worked best all around. I don't know if this helps you so stick around someone with a pc3r might provide better info. |

I did the install last night, bike runs sweet with generic advancing but i'm going to get a custom map for my bike cause i heard that you can screw up the bike from advancing it too much. I had the muzzy ignition advancer wich i had it at 2.5 deg. so i played safe and i didn't advance the module more than 2.5 Lou is correct, the bike doesn't like advancing after 9000 rpms and you can feel the difference. I also tried 4 degrees from 1000 to 4000 rpms and the bike feels like it's going to rip the tires off. Finally, -3 for nos from 7500 to red line at wot. |
