i have been using 1.25 lb bottles, that work well but pressure starts to fall off quickly,i just put together a deal for 2 brand new nx 2.5 lb bottles with brackets for 125.00 to my door, almost sounds to good to be true, bottles will be here next friday i use 2 lb bottles on the busa, pressure and performance is much more consistant with the bigger bottle,it should be a nice improvement on the 12 |

i got the bottles on friday, they are brand new as stated,i froze it ,filled it and mounted it,only to find there was only a 1/4'' clearance between the tire and bottle, not enough with tire growth at speed, the axle is at the end of the slots....will have to go with a longer arm to run the big bottle, anyone have a + 3'' laying around ?

i can't sell the bottles (i have 4) until i get the 2.5's to fit you can pick up a 1.25 lb alum. bottles at walmart for about 25 bucks, same as any n2o tank, and pick up a valve at any speed shop |

i got the big bottles to fit,did some modding on the mounting bracket, with a brand new tire i have about 3/8's of an inch clearance, close but should be ok heat/bp is an even bigger problem with the larger bottles,so i ordered a pressuire pro (wms is out of stock, won't be here until next week) 2 outlet ports on it,so the pressure sender will screw right into it,no more fittings (potential leaks) then i have right now, and 2 more nos 2lb bottles, should be good to go by the end of next week |
