How's Your 1375 Holdin' Up?

Been thinkin about goin that way. I've heard lots of bad, not so much good.
So whats the real deal!? I want the torque and power but I don't want to rebuild it every other month!

I've heard they rarely go 10k miles before they blow. Not sure what kind of failure(soft/hard) but it may have to do with the pistons coming too far down the sleeve and screwing up the skirts.
