- Some H2 Mods -

Testing a slip-on for Brock, and installed a fender eliminator. Also, a Shorai battery. I got the high capacity battery, around 285CA.

I really like this slip-on. Very aggressive tone with noise reduction plug removed. Overall, these small mods drop around 17 lbs from the bike.

I believe Brock's full system has headpipes close to stock I.D.? I am going to end up going to a full system at some point, but this was a quick, easy upgrade. The sound is so aggressive, it really changes the feel of the bike.

The thing is, in the vid, not past 7k rpm...when you combine the roar at high rpm, and the chirp of the BOV if you shift it lazily...very cool. I am really hooked on the quickshifter, tho....

This bike is incredible. I will try to get video of some on-the-road, high rpm pulls.

Ordered a set of H2 BST's...

Will report back, once measured and installed. Could be a few weeks...

PS. Unfortunately, H2 posts don't show up on the front page, nor in the latest posts. I have reported this, months ago...but no change.

Warp12, you seem to put BST's on all your bikes, do you have a great hook-up for them? Those are not cheap by any means.

I bought my first set around 2009. My 14R is the only bike I have BST's on, at the moment....and that set came with a project bike we purchased for a song, a few years back.

LOL. With a 2016 bike being produced, I expect to see a lot of fast H2's before too long. I see that Don Guhl is also working on overdrive gears for the SC.

Warp the front wheel saves 3 lbs but the back only 1 lb...

Don't get me wrong I WAsted money on titanium bolts so I'm all about rotating mass and unsprung weight, but do u think its worth it? Just a large cost as previously mentioned...

If ur planning on competing I guess leave no stone unturned but was just wondering ur thought process...

Also ur rear rim in the pic looks diff from the one 650ib just installed... Might it be a lighter version 2.0?

4 lbs of rotating mass is huge difference

I guess that's the way to get them. I would love to have a set on my 14r just haven't talked myself into it yet. By the way do you know how much weight saving they are over the stock gen 2 rims?
