1987 KLR 650cc electrical woes

New here looking for some help with electrical charging. Has 8-9 volts on the ac side at idle I rev it drops about .5v each. On the DC 13v at idle drops to 8v when I rev it. I tested the rectififer for bad diodes all good on + and - side?

I think it maybe stator??

Sounds like stator to me too. Easy way to check is disconnect the stator from the regulator/rectifier start the bike and just measure the AC between each point. You've got 3 phase coming from there, so they should all be about the same.

If it's not the same, or usually 1 is fine, and the other two has a major drop you've got your problem.

My bike doesn't leak oil, it just marks it's territory
