Oiling problem on New KLRs?

I was looking at buying one of these new KLRs, but I've been told and read that the new ones are prone to oiling issues. ANyone have any insight? They get Crazzzzy gas mileage, which is wexactly why I was looking at getting one.

where did you hear about this? You speaking of the 650cc thumper?

I have been reading and searching about the same thing...if you listen to both of these guys they have the same comment about oil issue (engine use oil)
