| Future KLR replacement!!
I can only hope. 8) http://www.kawasaki.co.uk/product.as...3FD7F773&Sub=3 They've been around for awhile but were'nt brought into the US. With the addition of the catalysers in the exhaust to meet Euro-II emissions I'm hoping they ship them over here. Curious??? Uses the existing EX500 motor. Maybe I'm just a half a bubble off in my taste!! :? For what I use the KLR for, this would work just fine!

I always thought that would be an ideal bike also. I like my dr650 but for extended highway use, it wouldn't hurt if it had more power.

Jeff, that reminds me alot of the KTM adventure bikes. Bet Kawa could bring it in a much lower price though. The 4 stroke KTMs are going up in price real fast. The RFS models went up about $300 this year and I am told to expect the same or perhaps more next year. If they keep it up I'm afraid they will price themselves right out of the 4 stroke dirt/ dual sport option for many.

It's kind of funny as Kawi was way ahead of it's time here in the US. We just were'nt ready for the Euro Spec duel purpose back in 1990. They did import the Tengai (KLR650) for one year but never brought it back. She's become almost a cult bike as most people have never seen one. We're weird lot around here as there's 5 of the things just in the little town I live in.
