Some one posted a link where Starcycle had Muzzy's dampers on sale for $299. I am not going to bash them, but I'm a little skeptical about them. When I called today, the guy that answered said, "I already sold that one." I thought that was kind of strange. The website had them listed as a closeout item, but nowhere did it mention they only had one. He said ,"I can still get you one if you want, but no where close to that price, thats for sure." After holding for over 5 minutes, waiting for a price the salesman comes back on the phone and says, "steering damper?" I said yes, "man those things are outrageous, gonna run you around, well right at $500." I told him the only reason I called was that his price was really good, and that $500 was a lot more than he was advertising, he said again that he already sold (that one), and he needed to change the website. WTF? If I pay that much I will just go to Doug at Spencercycle, where I know I will be treated right. Seems a little shady to me. I just wanted to inform everyone of my experience. Be cautious.
