Hey I have a project I'm working on. It's a Small buggy that will be powered by a GPZ 750 motor. I'm getting close to starting day so I'm trying to learn as much about this motor as I can. First let me say before I removed the motor for the bike the prior owner started the the bike for me to prove it ran. The only issue was one of the carb bowls was leaking (no biggie). I do have a couple of questions if you all can help me. 1. Does anyone have a wire diagram? 2. Looking for assistance on by passing the Key ignition with a switch and push button. 3. Is there anything I should know about this motor (bugs, glitches)? 4. Has anyone ever installed a digital tack and or speedometer on the GPZ 750 if so how and what did you use? By the way I'm a Military member stationed in Las Vegas NV if anyone is in the area. Thanks in Advance, Bryan |

why would you want a digital tach? Wire up a tach and be done with it....... As far as a speedo, what about using a gps? Or you could run something from your wheel, like a speed sensor, or, depending what your "buggy" will be, VW's ran their speedo off the wheel with a cable. Your key and ignition...... Use your key and ignition as a switch, and use what you want for a start button. The manual....search on google man! Kawasaki gpz 750 turbo 1984 Service manual - Download service / repair / owner / maintenance manuals, motorcycle tutorials, microfiche Its for the turbo model, but that was a 30 second search....... Should give you what you need. |
