Sorry, Bro... It needed to be said... Now go tell that boss you'll be needing a week in June, & he can just fuggin' get over himself if he's got an issue with that... Tell him I said so, & I'm willing to back it up with a strongly worded email!! THAT should set him straight!!
My schedule rotates every year, so I won't be home in June. It was too crowded, rainy and muggy as well. End of Aug it's clear roads and perfect weather.

02: Mystic Black, PCUSB, Quickshifter, Hindle, Helibars, Corbin, BMC, Carbon Fiber, EBC rotors...
00: Black-n-flamed, http://www.freewebs.com/heads_up_rac...ikerebuild.htm

RIP Pigpen2000... we'll ride again soon!!

I'd love to meet up with Go, Barb and numerous others (especially Barb to see if those 'rumours' are true)

Have a good one,

Hey Don,

I know I'm preaching to the converted but you do need to put a motorcycle visit to DG on your bucket list.
You will get to ride ( on the wrong side of the road ) some of the best roads and see some of the best countryside that you will see anywhere.

You will meet some very cool, funny people, and eat lots of good food.

You know you need to do this sometime.

Winning isn't everything but losing isn't anything.

Paddo, I'm pretty sure there is a place in Knoxville that hires out Sportbikes, although I doubt they will hire out 12's. It's not that cheap but it sure is fun.

Cops are nothing like the revenue chasing pricks here, from what I have seen, and I have spoken to a few on different occasions. They have a good attitude and aren't anal about a few mph over the limit.

Put it on your bucket list? Hell yeah!

Winning isn't everything but losing isn't anything.

I know you're right Paul, it is certainly on my bucket list, think of me while you're riding on the 'wrong side of the road'

There is at least one source of Sportbike rentals for the Deal's Gap area...

Sportbike Rentals | Sportbikes for Hire | Great Smoky Mountains | The Dragon | Cherohala Skyway | Blue Ridge Parkway | TN

Also, just in case anyone hasn't checked out the Gap website - Here it is:

dealsgap.com, Deals Gap, NC information. The Dragon, US129, Great Smoky Mountains. The Dragon at Deals Gap.

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Uh... yeah... You showed me (& almost everybody else) the taillight 2-up on Gary's BMW, so I'm sure the R1 will help you "keep up" pretty fuc*ing well!!

I can explain it to you, but I can't understand it for you.

Bought a R1200RT. Tried it in the gap last year and it actually handles well for what it is. Got cruise control, heated seat, radio etc. getting old.

Very nice.

I can see you and Barbarian setting the pace through the Gap, everyone else struggling to keep up.

Looking forward to catching up with everyone.
