I finally got modern.

Best buy had a sale on phones and I had a upgrade. So I actually broke down got rid of the Nextel blackberry. Girlfriend bought a HTC hero a week ago and I love the touch screen and all the apps. Anyway long story short I got for 99 bucks. Most awesome phone I ever had even has a metal detecting app which actually world. O dectected the metal in my ankle. LOL anyway I'm glad to be modern

Rich..... HTC seems to be on the cutting edge at the moment.. I'm currently using an HTC Touch Pro 2 for my smart phone and I'm impressed.. I still find myself picking up my standard old Motorola Razor2.. 9 out of 10 times I use the phone...

I was thinkin pro. But the salesman said more cool apps for hero. I just went by what he said.

Nice score on the HTC Hero. A couple months ago I bought the sibling HTC Droid Eris on Verizon's network. It's really been a great phone - much much much much better than the POS Razr I've suffered through for the last few years.

A metal detecting app huh? Hmmm, I'll have to check into that.
