I'm sure everyone's schedule varies, but I'm planning to arrive Sunday afternoon, May 3rd, and depart Saturday morning, May 9th...

Our "block" of accommodations (rooms, cabins, etc.) are for those dates... Fontana knows everyone will make their own reservations based on their individual schedule...

Hope I answered your question!!

A few dozen is a reasonable estimate. You will find quality rather than quantity at our rallies. You will see the "squid factor" absent with this bunch. You're not gonna find a nicer area to ride, and the Dragon will amaze you the first time. And the second. And the 22nd. But so many more nice rides than just that.

You might be able to meet up with the Chicago bunch and come along with them.

Some mighty talented riders in this forum, but everyone checks their ego at the door. It says volumes that Kiwi and his wife are coming over from OZ. For the 2nd time.

Come on down, you'll never regret it !

There's often beautiful scenery, as long as you can see around the enormous one-and-only-Barbarian.

Thanks, Connman... Good pics!!

shotgun - Many of our rally photos are "lost" in the archive stuff that our new Site Admin is working to restore here in our newly remodeled website...

I agree with everything Gary (Rxflyer) said above... The ride(s) are tons of fun, and the camaraderie is second to none...

As for the number of people usually attending, I think the record is 58 or 60 people... We have a lot of people who have never met any other members, but I hope that doesn't cause any hesitation...

All of us tend to "play well with others", and as evidence of this, I'll point to our long-standing members who return time & time again, as well as people who are coming from Canada (and of course, Australia!!) to attend again... Everybody feels the "family" vibe... So much so, that many people bring kids, spouses who don't ride, or others with them to the rally... You can trust the group here to be respectful (well, within reason!! )...

I'm putting your name on the tentative list, and I'd suggest you send a PM to others coming from the same state/direction as you to see if it's possible to share a trailer, caravan, etc.... Good luck with your plans, & I hope to see you there!!

I just took delivery of my ride there-a free 1991 chevy 15 passenger van with a recently rebuilt engine and trans. I'm guessing I can fit at least 2 bikes inside and pull an decent size trailer if need be.

I was asked the question by a dude what's trying to convince his wifey into letting him go. I'll pass on yer point to him. BTW, that dude ain't me. Debi insists I go and get out of her hair, no matter what the cost is.

Rates are on page numero uno.

I've made the mistake of going down to my local BMW/Ducati dealership, and they have the nicest '08 Monster S4S in a Tri-Colore paint scheme. And a couple of leftover Hypermotards. And a new Monster 1100 with custom paint. Jeez. I just don't know....
