Why does fortnight mean 'two weeks' anyway?
Hell, I dunno!!

It's your language, not mine!!

Too easy. I was thinking it might have something to do with castles and sieges and stuff, obviously I was thinking too deep....or I'm just a bit thick.

Wheelspin @ 70mph on a three lane motorway. No great drama but didn't expect it on a well-trodden stretch with some gentle acceleration. Tis a bit chilly though. The surgical spirit/gas mix is keeping the ice-carb gremlins at bay on the zzr1100, which is a plus. And in this cold air she pulls like train.

Warmed up a bit today.

-2ºC.

If it drops another 10ºC I might be forced to don thermals. Sleat on way home. Snot levels good, and holding.

I know that Cadiz, Spain was the inspiration for the name of my little town, but that's where the similarities end!! The two names aren't even pronounced the same!!

BTW - Do you have very long roads on Tenerife?? Can you get your 12 up to any speeds??

Of course, we r talking about 2 differents countrys, but the spanish influence in US is very big... Cadiz, BTW, is an spanish city with a lot of arabic influence also.. `cause was invaded 700 hundred years ago...
Here we have 2 mayor highways...the best for my opinion, is the TF1, starting at the north of the island and finishing at south, 70 km.... with long straight sections, were is posible reach almost the top end speed of the bike...whoever, spanish road police, GUARDIA CIVIL, is a pain in the a*s ... anyway, 70 % of the roads are between montains, not the optimal enviroment for the ZX12, but we are all the time trying to enjoy 100%...

Damp & foggy. Condensation on the visor meant constant wiping. Very slippery.

I know this really kinda does not count, as I was not riding my bike to work, but this morning here in Princeton, MN. It was -33F. I did sit on my bike while it was in my warm garage though. And currently at 11:30 am it is warming up nicely its -8F and -24F with the wind chill.
