I wonder who the first one-hundred and seventy-two suckers were?

I wonder how many are actually left on the roads?

I wonder how many actually made it to the road?

I wonder how many people purchased them as an investment?

I wonder how many of those poor bastids have buyers remorse?

I wonder how many owners think their buells are stoopid-fast?

I wonder how long it will take before I can see the pics of this unfamous #173....Damn I can't believe I have that # burned into my brain-housing group.

I wonder if Pabst is on sale today?

I wonder why Buells are still being sold. Didn't that pass a law stating blind people cant drive...let alone ride? And if you're not blind a bought a buell...well there should be a law against your kind driving/riding too.

local Harley dealer had test drives yesterday, i took the Buell 1125r, roughest bike ive ever been on after 40 kms i couldent stand up after i got off. the fuel tank got so hot that i could not touch it....seriously!. my left ankle got so hot that it turned my white sock brown.when the girl was explaining the bike to me she said that it MUST be kept above 4000rpm or the bike would not run right (i laughed), she then told me it was sapost to be like that, and she was right it wouldent run under 4000,it would buck and jerk really badly

Interesting

"Among the issues, the rear brakes emitted a howl, which we were told will be solved with the incorporation of different pads. Front suspension damping felt a bit soft during aggressive riding, which, apparently, will be solved with a reworked combination of spring rate and pre-load. Also, during several hundred miles of street and track riding a few of us experienced unusual amounts of heat radiating towards our right boots (which was not helped by 100° + ambient temperatures); Buell engineers assured us they were working on a fix.

And finally, punchy fueling at low engine speeds-- mainly in the 3,000 rpm to 4,000 rpm range-- was attributed to fuel injection mapping which is still being massaged by the Buell team."

2008 Buell 1125R Superbike Review - A Review of the 2008 Buell 1125R Motorcycle

Hey Red97 - Don't worry the bugs are "still being massaged by the Buell team."
