Dynoed the Concours 14 today

I had my 2011 Concours dynoed today. It put out 148 hp/94 ft.lbs of torque. That's with the secondary butterflies still in. I've been hesitant to pull them out since the traction control utilizes them to smoothly cut power when needed. At any rate my air/fuel curve looked really good. I was surprised about how spot on it was, because it's the map that came with my Area-P exhaust and PC-V. Kudos to Fuel Moto on that. The only performance mods besides my pipe and power commander include removal of the clean air system.

Nice power If Grumpy takes his Concours to DG12 it will be interesting to how they compare. He has an Area P slipon, PC-V and the flies have been pulled. His map is also from Fuel Moto.
see you in a few weeks.

QuickW, for what its worth, my chicken strips are narrower on the Connie than my Z1K. (same size tires) She does rip through the twisties!

When? I'm riding down mid-June and might be up for a rip! Actually I prefer the Cherohala, and lunch at the Telico Cafe ;)

Trees are like magnets, if you look at one too hard you'll probably hit it.
I miss my 01, the silver was fastest!
08 Concours....as close to silver as I could get!

Hi Rocket and all,

For my concourse, 2012, I am contemplating having it dynoed.
I want to keed std, exhaust, exchange airfilter to K&N and to have it dynoed at my dealer to have a better response and torque when twisting the throttle. (Had it done to my BB with a good result), but i am curious as to the info's in the display - do you loose the menus / Infos ? and what about the mileage shown in the info - is that erratic or lost ? and I assume that the acual mileage is worsened - but how much ? what is your experience ? In Dk where I live we pay about 2,5 USD per 1/4 gallon - so the mileage is quite essential when finding the optimum compromise.
What is your motivation for keeping the butterflies in the intake, I believe I have seen other posts where people took them out ?
Finally - what did you do to make the loop as there are no O2 eliminator available for the model after 2010 ?

Sorry for all the questions, but really looks forward to some evaluations, as I am really enjoying the bike.
Cheers
Hulky
