I had the pilot 3's on my C14. An excellent choice for the C14. A great WET weather tire.I had around 5000 miles on them,(when I traded in the bike)I'd guess about 7000 miles to a set.

I'll get the P3's when my VFR 1200 needs new shoes.

I run the Michelin Pilot Road 2 on my 14 in the 190/55 size. It steers slightly better in the tight stuff and the size increase brings your speedo closer to actual speed. I've ran the hell out of them and 5000 miles later they still have tread. As a matter of fact the Road 2s stick so good I put one on the back of the 10R when I had it.

Life is short! Eat Dessert first!

for Roadsmarts
I don't think you can go wrong with either but the general consensus I've seen is the Dunops last longer. Heard rumblings people prefered the PR2s over the 3s but can't confirm.

Trees are like magnets, if you look at one too hard you'll probably hit it.
I miss my 01, the silver was fastest!
08 close to silver as I could get!

The Michelin Pilot Road 2 was an instantly noticable improvement over the OEM Bridgestones, dramaticly improved wet grip. Put high milage on two set of the PR2's on my old 2008 C14, before upgrading to PR3. Even more wet grip with the newer PR3 and seems to wear like iron. Just traded my much loved 2008 for a new 2112 C14, so I'm back to the OEM tires. I expect to be back on the PR3 first sign that the Bridgestones are getting worn.
