What are you guys running for tires ?

Not sure what to get Id like some thing that will last and have some decent grip.

Any one try the new BT 23's ? ( im thinking im going with these )

Im thinking maybe going with BT 16's my buddy
has them on his busa and they are lasting very well.
He has about 10000 km on the front and getting about
6000 km on the bach and he drives pretty hard. And yes at this
point they are F$#ked !

I hear that the PR2's are good on this bike but im not that impressed with them. Ive had two sets on my zx12 and there nothing special.

pp2ct, 3500 out of the rear(no burnouts but lots of wheelies and hard acceleration) front looks brand new(as far as tread depthgoes, but they'r still soft), cheaper than the road 2s from motorcycle superstore and exceed by far the riding abilities of the average rider.

I have the BT016. In the wet, they're shit. And on the dry you have good grip.

I use them 1 season and it's over. Aprox 6 to 7000 kilometer.

Friends have the Diablo rosso corsa and seem to adore it.

Dunlop D208's. (Still running a 200 rear) I'm enjoying them. The wear seems good - 5000k on them and they still look close to new, and more importantly lots of grip in the corners all the way to the edge.

Havn't ridden in the rain really so can't comment. Only downside is they take longer to heat up I find than my prevous Bridgestones and Michelins. Crack on it hard to soon out of the garage and you're on your way to a great rolling burnout. Once they heat up though, tons of grip.

What was it you did not like about PR2s? I have been running them for a couple of seasons and have had great luck with them. I have over 5000 miles on the rear of my 12 and have never had it slip. No burnouts, no wheelies. 1/4 inch chicken strips.

I currently have the stock Bridgestones on my 07 Connie, should be through with them in another 1K miles, then I'll be going to the PR2.

I'll stay with the PR2 till something better comes along.

I'm satisfied with the Dunlop RoadSmart on the back of my Z1K. Sticks good in the corners and has acceptable wear down the center. I'd have to estimate the center at 50% after 3,500 miles now. The original tire was done at 2k miles - sides and center. I have another in the garage waiting to be mounted when needed.
