I’ll try to make a long story short, My wife and I have had 4 kids living with us for the past two years. Today we signed the paper work to adopt them and decided it would be cool to take them on a family vacation. Disney World it is. To make it happen I’m selling a toy…long story short either the bike or the car has to go. Contact James @ 405-912-4782 Pawnpusher71@yahoo.com Moore, OK. 73160 The car is a 1973 Camaro 350/350 w/3.73’s its pretty nice $8,000. Look for it in a separate ad. The bike is a prostreet 2000 ZX-12R $6,500. OBO or trades with at least $3,500. It has a clean green no lien Oklahoma title in my name. Last year I spun a bearing in the stock motor and replaced it with a built 2002 ZX-12R. Odometer shows 15,500 +/- but is way high due to gearing. This bike has custom paint and must be seen in person to be appreciated. It has a whole lot of parts and is built to go quick. I bought the motor from lunacy racing. This motor ran low 8’s @ 160+ in their chassis. It was rebuilt and received new bearings and rings at the end of last season. The motor is fresh & has very low miles. < 500. Its bored stroked cam’d and the tranny is race cut. RPM cycle in OKC Dyno’d it @ only180hp, uncorrected, on a dynojet dynometer. They assured me that’s very good for their dyno and that head/cams busa’s dyno less. I made the mistake of using C16 for the dyno run and that cost an estimated 10hp. The bike should do a lot better with the right fuel and a little ignition timing. That’s with out the nitrous. There is a 40 shot on the bike but the motor has never been sprayed. MAKE NO MISTAKE, the bike pulls harder than you can imagine and you wouldn’t know it had more in it unless I had told you up front. The bike is nuts and I will try to get it down the track to see what kind of # I can put up. I’ve ridden it to work a couple of times and up and down the highway just getting it sorted. It runs very well on 91 w/a little 104 octane booster. This is a killer street legal dragbike! The lower fairings are not on the bike at this time. I had them off for the dyno runs and the right side will need to be notched to clear the sidewinder. MOTOR: 1394cc Falicon Crank JE Pistons Muzzy 00’ Race Cams Muzzy Valves & Titanium springs Muzzy reed block-offs, w/Crank case vent Muzzy sidewinder Ape adjustable cam sprockets Koenig low profile billet oil pan w/swinging pick-up The Transmission has been race cut. New clutch fibers & steels Dyno Jet PC3 USB MPS Kill switch (AMA legal) Vortex sprockets front and rear. Front (-1), Rear (48 tooth) w/a 530 chain Swing arm extensions (Myrtle West 3-7”?) PMR lowering links Shinko rear tire Fender eliminator w/integrated rear turn signals Flush mount turn front signals. 40 shot of nitrous 2000’ motor is included. The crank can be welded up and turned into a stroker for around $350. Most every thing should be there although as-is the crank and rods should not be used. I also have a spare fuel pump assembly and a walbro GS307. (The high flow muzzy pump) Note: The pics show the bike with the lowers on it and a hindle pipe. The lowers are not on it at this time but are included and the bike now has the full Muzzy sidewinder. Pics: http://www.geocities.com/state_surplus/zx12r.JPG |

Its a bandwidth problem. Email for pics I have gotten a ton of questions regarding the dyno #'s About the dyno, C16 was used for fuel by mistake. I didnt realize it until after, I had meant to use C12. The dyno #'s are uncorrected and on a dynojet dynometer which is in my understanding conservative. The cam's are degreed just under what muzzy recomended to allow for a bigger torque curve. This bike has busa beating torque and comes on @ 3,000 rpm. The stock motor had to be turning 7,000. You wouldnt belive it unless you rode it. This is an entirly different bike now. The bike needs to have the ignition advanced. The module for the PC3 is $350 Popular opinion is, the C16 robbed 10hp +/-, uncorrected would account for 10+/-, I've heard dyno jet is 20% conservative, putting the cams @ muzzy recomended 105/106 would gain some hp, ignition timing would gain 5-10. I'm not making excuses, it is what it is,but yes the motor should be 220+. I think I'm going to keep the bike together and just keep dropping the price until it sells. Its too nice to scap out. |

Streetable...the A/F was tuned, and cams degreed for torque in the 3-10k range. It takes some getting use to but leaving a stop light is the hardest part. It takes some control to keep from spinning the tire. I've ridden it to work a few time, out on the town a few Friday nights, to my parent house 1 town over a few times. The bike could use a better battery. It drags/wont start if you dont let it sit for 5/10 minutes between stops. that was a problem 1 time at the gas station. But it does not run hot. I rode it home from work in 95-100 degree stop and go traffic with no problems. I had a problem with a false overheating problem, search this board and you should find it. The gage was showing hot but it didnt act hot. It ended up being the sensor for the gage. I put the one from the 00' motor in and have had ZERO problems since. It does have a switch wired inline for the fan and I turn it on and leave it on. Probably not needed but it cant hurt. |
