last week i wrecked my bike becuase a blind driver pulled out in front of me and the damn police wrote the accident report as a single car accident so my insurence said they would not fix it. so i looking for any part that would fit on a 03 zx12r any color is fine as im going to get it painted anyway. i can use all fairings as for mine are all messed up or cracked really bad. just emaill me or call me at 912 980 5256 and ask for adrian im willing to pay for them i live in georgia in fort stewart area

Sorry to hear about your spill. Welcome though, nonetheless.

FWIW, I've seen a few sets of OEM fairings currently on ebay. There are 2 or 3 on there right now apparently being parted out. I know there was at least one full set of black (I think) OEM bodywork listed for around $600 or so with a BIN.

As for the insurance bit, you can always pursue the other driver and his/her insurance, regardless of what the police report says. It's not clear why your insurance company wouldn't pay based on the info you provided. If you had full coverage (ie. collision), they should pay regardless. If you only had liability, then no, they won't pay, as that coverage is only for damage that YOU might do to OTHERS (in which case you need to be seeking recovery from the other driver's liability insurance).

Did the other driver make contact with you, or just cause you to go down?
(often wondered how they would classify that)

the police said since i didnt hit the other car it was a single car accident so im stuck rebuliding my bike from scartch witch is not fun at all it cost more then what i thought but thaks for taxes lol it will be back together soon i hope if it dont break me lol

IF you went down avoiding another motorist, HE CAN be held responsible!! Did the other motorist stop??

IF you can identify the other motorist (plate number, etc.), I'd talk to a lawyer... If you have any witnesses, make sure you get written statements from them, too... A cop's accident report is NOT always the final word!!

im about to buy the a fairing set of ebay from hong kong are they ok or do they suck

I have one left side front fairing FOR SALE in the color Candy Thunder Blue. For the most part the panel is perfect with no scratches, except for two cracks just above the hole for the side stator casing. From a distance you can hardly see them. It's just when you get up close to the panel that they're noticeable as you'll see in the pictures. Since you're talking of repainting, these would be an easy fix with a plastic welder and some filler. Also, there's no pressure placed upon the area the cracks are in so no chance of a repair recracking.
