Damper is back with fresh plastic and fluid:

the large adjuster is a huge improvement over the tiny pointer. No more fumbling while screaming in and out of corners.

Decided to freshen up my damper with a fluid exchange, large adjuster knob (the original arrow was stripped and kind of pain to adjust with gloves on) and a new high-speed cover. Should look like this when it returns from Scott's:
