Well I'm nearing the end now and I am very content. It was able to spend a few hours in saddle this afternoon and the bike feels great! I mounted the windscreen and CF inners this morning, however I hit a snag with the right side.

Lightech mirrors installed.


I had to hog-out the mirror mounting holes a bit to get them to fit. They don't offer much in the way of Y-axis visibility, but they reduce the X-axis blindspot quite a bit. They'll take some fine-tuning and acclamation but they look great and weigh less than 4oz each(the stock mirrors are 1.2lbs!)!....

And I took took the first few steps toward the "Nicky" mod. I cut off more than I thought I would in order to completely remove the shift pattern box.

I have a chrome vortex 17T on order and I'll need to clean up some light surface oxidation...
