I was able to reposition the stock hoses

Feels great, nice and firm, with loads of feedback
I just ordered the matching Brembo clutch lever as well:

they only make it for the R1/R6 so I bought an 09 R1...

I took the PR2s for a leisurely ride last weekend to properly scrub them in and thus far I am satisfied with them. They are not as sticky or triangular as the 2CTs but I'll make those concessions if they last longer than a season.

No luck with the carbon snorkel. It appears the combination of aftermarket fairings and aftermarket CF don't mix:

Just a little mid-season update.
The new front suspension is AMAZING. It didn't feel too good on the first real-ride of the year (over-steer and harsh) however I have since dialed it in fairly well and it works great. Turn-in is precise and it's very supple over the bumps. I know, for the price I could have had an Ohlins fork, but the cartridge kit is universal and can be swapped into my next bike (ha) with ease.
I'm still waiting for my carbon snorkel after USPS failed and returned...
