Question for Police....

I have an honest question not being a smart ass... Kinda long story will make short as possible...

My leg was jacked up needed to see a doc so I went to local hospital... The first time the gave me pills for and infection.... Couple days later went back to the emergency room complaining of sickness and stomach pains and they passed off as since I was sick and threw up thats why I had the stomach pains... Real dumbasses...

So I sat home a couple days with things getting worse, I decided to go to a real hospital not Warrensburg our local butcher....

Turns out I had Pancreatitus and had to have Gall bladder removed....

Heres where my trouble/question begins....

I have sent Warrensburg at least fifty bucks a month and sumtimes a 100... I owe them 259 bucks and they are theatening to turn it over to collections..... And most of you know my personality I am not one to be shoved and take it lightly...........

My question is I am considering taking in PAYMENT IN FULL in form of 26,000 pennys..................... Can the refuse it and if so how can they refuse full payment??????

Thanxxx guys, I am serious...... It is legal tender and full payment..

I'm not sure on that one Richard. Like ya said, it is legal tender. I always thought, that, if you are paying the bill, they can't forward to collections ???

Rich, I went through this once with a hospital. They sent me a bill after telling me the only fee would be sent by the Dr. I paid them $20 a month for several years, just as a F-U. They threatened the same crap and I said "Go ahead, I'm not refusing to pay in fact I sent payment every month". I never heard from a collection agency and the bill was paid in total after maybe 3 years.

Why havent you checked into malpratice suit since they misdiagnosed you and would have died if not for the forethought to get a second opinion. Bet that would change their minds

Rich, I just saw this and work in the biz ....

Yes, you could get a box and ship them that amount in pennies. Think about the shipping cost cuz that box is going to be heavy. .... or you could make a minimum payment each month.

This thread reminds me of the farmer that paid the IRS with pennies soaked in cows blood, delivered in wooden buckets; "blood money" as he called it.

When you first went to the hospital didn't they check your Amylase and Lipase. Common work-up tests for abdominal pain and vomiting not associated with dizziness. WR
